VANCOUVER – August 15, 2022 – MintList is excited to announce that it has won a Stevie Award in the Tech Startup of the Year – Software category in the 19th Annual International Business Awards. MintList, which is revolutionizing the way cars are bought and sold, is the first company in Canada to win this award in this category. More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes across multiple industries were submitted this year, and previous winners include IBM, T-Mobile, Lenovo, Fortinet, and Pepsico. Out of hundreds of winners in past years, only three Canadian companies have ever won an award, but this is a first in this category.

“Disrupting an existing industry with cutting-edge and highly scalable technology demonstrates your huge success,” says one of the esteemed judges. “MintList has developed a very original and innovative platform for selling cars between consumers and dealers,” said another judge. “The achievements obtained in the period are astonishing,” another added.

“It is extremely gratifying to be the first Canadian company to win this award in this category,” says Mike Wood, co-founder and CEO of MintList. “MintList simplifies the vehicle buying and selling process and reduces risk, putting the control back into consumer’s hands. Our technology is a welcome change from the traditionally frustrating process of buying or selling a car, and our record growth is proof that consumers want this.”

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to receive this great honour,” says Mehrsa Raeiszadeh, co-founder and COO of MintList. “Winning this Stevie Award acknowledges the tremendous success we’ve had in disrupting the trillion-dollar global automotive market. Our technology, drive, and determination to succeed is unmatched, and I believe this award is an early indicator of what’s to come.”

MintList will be among the winners celebrated during a gala banquet at the InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel, in London, England, on Saturday, 15 October – the first live IBA awards ceremony since 2019.
